About me
Hello everyone! My name is Meghana and I am a high school junior in Houston, Texas who is super passionate about sustainability in cities. However, it's not just sustainable practices that i find important, it's also adressing social issues that come with growing sustainably. Over the past few years, one thing I have noticed is that a lot of young people share my concerns about pressing issues pertaining to sustainability, they just don't know how they can make a difference or feel they don't know enough. I am a firm believer that all of us can make a difference if we have the resources to do so, and I hope that the Sustainabilidate provides insight for anyone looking to learn or do more.
About the podcast
On the Sustainabilidate, I make it my mission to tackle issues related to sustainability- such as environmental racism- while also advocating for environmental justice. With 2 episodes a month consisting of engaging interviews with experts, we'll not just talk about problems but also discuss the best way to find a solution. I hope you guys are abe to take away key ideas and understand the importance of equity in regards to growing sustainably.
